The meaning behind the new single from Dust Cwaine's catalog, "Aliens in LA", was expressed to be a fat positive anthem. It is meant to be a fun empowerment track. They spent a lot of time thinking about the culture of fatness and how it is so out of rhythm with the rest of the world, how amazing that is, and how much power that yields. The song carries that reflection.
A song can tell us a lot, especially about the artists behind it. According to Dust Cwaine, "Aliens in LA" is a really strong song, lyrically and instrumentally. For them and producer Josh Eastman, this is one of their top tracks on the album.
When asked about next plans. Dust Cwaine said next they will release their debut album and TONS of shows.
We asked Dust Cwaine "what does their project aim to say?"
Dust replied "I think more than anything I want people to be excited to embrace themselves and inspire folks to love themselves where they are at. The saying 'we don't want to belong' is a sentiment that places us at the center of our uniqueness."

Author: Scarlett Pham Drake's new collaboration with DJ Khaled and Lil Baby on "Staying Alive" debuted at No.5 on the Billboard Hot 100. That means Drakes now has his 30th top five single on the chart, beating The Beatles' record of 29 singles. The legendary band of the 60's held their record for 55 years, but Drake is now really true to what he raps in "Going Bad." He lived up to the line in this track stating that "I got more slaps than The Beatles." Watch "Staying Alive" below:

In February of this year, NBA YoungBoy criticized Atlantic Records for blackballing him. The reason came from the record label suddenly removing his mixtape "Colors" from online music platforms even though the project debuted at No.2 on the Billboard 200. At that time, NBA YoungBoy also advised other artists should not be signed to Atlantic Records. His fans demanded that the record label end its contract and return the masterpiece to NBA YoungBoy.
However, in a post on NBA YoungBoy's Instagram account, NBA said that the issues with the record label have been resolved. Notably, he also revealed that he had just resigned with Atlantic Records through a new contract worth up to 60 million dollars.
Although $60 million is not a small number, his fans believe he deserves more than that. They believe that if NBA works as an independent artist, the amount of money he could earn will definitely be more than the deal with Atlantic Records.
Not only attracting the attention of the audience, this news also caught Kodak Black's attention. He revealed that his contract with Atlantic Records is about to end soon, and he wants a similar number to NBA YoungBoy. Kodak explained that he just wants to get the money he deserves.

What is the differences between major label and independent hustle? The one who can answer this question is none other than Bobby Shmurda because he was singed to a music label and now he is an independent artist.
During a recent visit to The Party Starters Podcast, the rapper used the drug game as an analogy to explain the differences between signing with a major record label and being an independent artist.
"You can think of independence like this: your albums and EPs as bricks, pounds, just for the streets. You got a bunch of traps - distributors or labels. You can give an EP here, you can give an album here, you can give a half a pound here, you give a pound here, you give half a key here. It's just like we did in the hood" he gives some acts to support his words.
To explain the label record, he said: "Labels are different. They're gonna give you all the fame, they're gonna put you in front of everybody's face, where everybody gon' love you. But you ain't getting no money. You gonna be wearing everything for free, going everywhere for free and the point in time you act up, 'Bi*ch get your a$$ [out]!"
He added: "And you don't [own your music] and you don't even make no money. Every 30 days, I need that check, I need my own check. Your music gone, you don't get no money. You better get your a$$ up and get on them stages... It's a pimp and ho game."

"Demons Protected By Angels" is the project announced by NAV on June 27th on his Twitter.
On June 20th, he also tweeted about July 29th, but he did not reveal more details about that day. Since then, July 29th did not feature his album release, but a new single instead titled "Never Sleep" featuring Travis Scott and Lil Baby.
NAV didn't release new music from his first studio album "Good Intentions" in May 2020 and mixtape "Emergency Tsunami" in November of the same year. "Good Intentions" debuted at No.1 on Billboard 200 while "Emergency Tsunami" debuted at No.6. So NAV's release of "Demons Protected By Angels" this year is worth waiting for.
In addition to his own music works, NAV has also collaborated with other artists such as Rowdy Rebel on "Jesse Owens," Lil Gotit on "Burnt N Turnt," and Vory and Yung Bleu on "Do Not Disturb."
Stay tuned for more information on "Demons Protected By Angels", as the project will most likely be released soon.

Future has officially surpassed Drake to become the most successful rapper to emerge in the 2010's in terms of having the most platinum albums.
The rapper earned 55 new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on Wednesday (July 27). The 2017 album "HNDRXX" and the 2018 "Wrld On Drugs" collaboration with Juice WRLD also contributed several platinum certifications to Future.
Future currently has at least eight albums going platinum, surpassing Drake with just seven. Furthermore, all nine of his studio albums are at least gold certified.
Albums like "HNDRXX," "Pluto," "EVOL," "Future" and his "What a Time To Be Alive" collaboration with Drake also went platinum, while "High Off Life" went 2x-platinum and "DS2" went 3x-platinum on Wednesday.
His latest album "I Never Liked You" is also getting very close to going platinum. The album has sold over 890,000 units, and remains one of the best-selling albums on the Billboard 200. This album and its track "Wait For U" make Future the second artist in history to debut at No.1 on both the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100. The first person to achieve this was Drake.
Other rappers of the 2010's in the platinum album race include J. Cole with 6 albums, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, and Juice WRLD all with 4 albums. Travis Scott has 3 albums.
However, for Future or Drake to take the place of rapper with the most platinum Hip-Hop albums of all time, it is still a long way off. The spot is currently belongs to Jay-Z with 17 platinum/multi-platinum projects since 1996. Next is Eminem, who recently became the most decorated artist in RIAA history, follows with 13 and three of them are diamond certified.
