The meaning behind the new single from Dust Cwaine's catalog, "Aliens in LA", was expressed to be a fat positive anthem. It is meant to be a fun empowerment track. They spent a lot of time thinking about the culture of fatness and how it is so out of rhythm with the rest of the world, how amazing that is, and how much power that yields. The song carries that reflection.
A song can tell us a lot, especially about the artists behind it. According to Dust Cwaine, "Aliens in LA" is a really strong song, lyrically and instrumentally. For them and producer Josh Eastman, this is one of their top tracks on the album.
When asked about next plans. Dust Cwaine said next they will release their debut album and TONS of shows.
We asked Dust Cwaine "what does their project aim to say?"
Dust replied "I think more than anything I want people to be excited to embrace themselves and inspire folks to love themselves where they are at. The saying 'we don't want to belong' is a sentiment that places us at the center of our uniqueness."
