In February of this year, NBA YoungBoy criticized Atlantic Records for blackballing him. The reason came from the record label suddenly removing his mixtape "Colors" from online music platforms even though the project debuted at No.2 on the Billboard 200. At that time, NBA YoungBoy also advised other artists should not be signed to Atlantic Records. His fans demanded that the record label end its contract and return the masterpiece to NBA YoungBoy.
However, in a post on NBA YoungBoy's Instagram account, NBA said that the issues with the record label have been resolved. Notably, he also revealed that he had just resigned with Atlantic Records through a new contract worth up to 60 million dollars.

Although $60 million is not a small number, his fans believe he deserves more than that. They believe that if NBA works as an independent artist, the amount of money he could earn will definitely be more than the deal with Atlantic Records.
Not only attracting the attention of the audience, this news also caught Kodak Black's attention. He revealed that his contract with Atlantic Records is about to end soon, and he wants a similar number to NBA YoungBoy. Kodak explained that he just wants to get the money he deserves.
