On Friday, March 22, Rich the Kid released his long waited album, "The World Is Yours 2".
Building the hype for it since the release of "The World Is Yours" in 2018 by slowly previewing breakout songs that were going to be headliners on the album. Rich the Kid fans were patiently waiting for the trackless with the features to see who would be along side Rich and as to what tracks would blow up. The largest track off the album that was the single for the album, "Splashin", was released and teased before the release of the album. Racking in millions of streams and becoming one of his most streamed songs, "Splashin" really was the song that built the true hype for the project.
A little look into the history of Rich The Kid's musical career:
One of his first ever releases was a collaborative project with the hit rap group, Migos. The project's name was "Streets on Lock" (had two volumes) and was loaded with hits that showed Rich's true talent as an artist and how he was able to make each song have its own style to it. Before this, Rich released his own mixtape, but this collaborative piece, helped him get his feet off the ground for the action packed career he was going to have ahead of him. One of his best collaborative pieces is his music with Famous Dex. Releasing a few singles, these two racked in millions of views and streams, creating an iconic duo in the genre that will not be forgotten for the new age rappers.
