On October 13th, Offset announces the release of his upcoming album Set It Off.
The announcement was published on Twitter along with the album's cover art, representing a star falling from an upside down city swallowed by flames into an intense blue sky. This album is a continuation of the 2019 publication, Father of 4, that broke the charts as a No. 4 on Billboard 200 albums. In 2021, the rapper released an EP named Culture III and four studio albums as a member of Migos. His project relieved to be incredibly unique, and now the public is way beyond excited to hear what has been cooking in that private paradise we call studio. The famous rapper had recently ended his legal battle with record label Quality Control Music, filing paperwork in Los Angeles seeking a declaratory judgement affirming "that Quality Control has no rights, title, or interest in or to Offset’s recordings." Early last year Kiari Cephus (his real name) bought the rights to his solo project and now has complete ownership over his recordings. At times, record labels are the launching pad for a successful career, but other times, they might become your tailored prison.
