A few weeks, the song "On The Street" marked the collaboration of rapper J. Cole and BTS' J-Hope was released. J. Cole used his verse to talk about his intention to retire, as well as how he finds it difficult to do so.
Throughout his verses, J. Cole has shared about why he wants to retire and the struggle in his mind because he truly loves making music.
This is not the first time J. Cole has talked about his intention to retire. At the end of 2020, he shared his plans including "The Off-Season" released in 2021, "It's A Boy" expected to come out this year, and "The Fall Off" which probably will be his last album.
"Oh, bro, I'm super comfortable with the potential of being done with this sh**. But I'm never going to say, Oh, this is my last album," he previous told SLAM magazine. He continue shared: "Because I never know how I'm going to feel two years, three years, four years down the line, ten years down the line, but please believe, I'm doing all this work for a reason."
J. Cole's future will decide how we still have to wait. He and Dreamville Records executive produced the "Creed III" soundtrack, contains his new song "Adonis Interlude (The Montage). Listen to the song below:
