"We go by “Chiefah Gang”, we’re a group of 5. Our names are Ant Tha Great, P. Chiefah, Chef Nesse, Cge Buck and YNZay. We started off doing music together just for fun by doing freestles and using an app called “RapChat”, but we’ve always been Chiefah Gang way before the music. The reason we decided to take it seriously as a group is because we could see how much influence and energy we feed off each other when we rap, plus the songs we make are fire!"
Chiefah Gang have become so unique that even they have a hard time describing the beast they've become. "We find it hard to try and describe our music. We get asked the question a lot and the only answer we can come up with is that... “We Snap”! Although, we can tell you what we want. Our music is versatile, we all have our own flow and feel for music when we’re creating so we have music to turn up to in the club, music you can sit and smoke to and we have a R&B feel too in a few songs."
And the hustle never stops for them. Having made big moves in 2018 they continue to keep up the momentum for the incoming year. "During this year is when we began to do music as Chiefah Gang. February 2018 is when we invested in the equipment to start recording from our home studio. From that time until August we recorded music almost every night of the week, then we released our first project “Chiefah Gang - We Ain’t Normal” on all platforms. We did our first performance with “The ShowCase Tour” in Orlando, FL in September and placed 3rd in the competition. Other accomplishments of ours are winning live radio interviews, photoshoots, green screen access, and VIP access to Babylon Miami. But since our first show then on we’ve been doing shows throughout Miami and pushing our latest BANGER “Chiefah Gang - Allat” on all platforms! As of 2019, we plan on taking the music to the next level and making this a full time commitment, while we prepare for a Florida tour. MORE DETAILS BY FOLLOWING @THECHEFBOOTH on IG & TWITTER."
"Looking from where we started, we’re all growing into finding our sound as a group and individually. We began writing more and better content to create a variety of songs. Gaining our fanbase and building our name, our connections and our platform. There is no end goal for us, we want to be able to do this for a living and take care of our family doing something we all love to do, together. We want to influence the legalization of marijuana as well so everyone can ‘Chief’ in peace."
