Sean Greenstreet is wondering "Why" in his newest release during the coronavirus pandemic.
Sean wrote the new hit during the lockdowns and it was inspired by the chaos going on in our society. He expresses himself along the lines of asking everyone in his verses to look at themselves in the mirror and ask the question, "Why?".
He goes on to wonder why are we so evil and why do we continue to stand by while innocent people are being taken advantage of on a daily basis. He puts his single in the setting of many controversial issues, but has a great reason to do so. Many people are also wondering these same exact questions which makes this tune more necessary than ever before.
He believes everyone should be treated equally and should not be silenced by certain people for having specific opinions. Sean agrees that this question is the "epitome of control freak manipulation at it’s finest and it should be unacceptable on all levels". He strongly believes that this pandemic made people realize what type of world we truly live in. It lets you realize what is real and what is not. You can tell by Sean's tone in this song that he needs everyone to stand up for the voiceless and the disenfranchised. He wants to spread love instead of hate. He begins to elaborate on the world being a never-ending toxicity. It needs to stop once and for all. This new normal that we are all living in right now is full of broken people who are hurting and they need to be loved.
