Looks like Drake and Rae Sreemurd's, Swae Lee fans are in for a treat very soon.
The two rap juggernauts are going to be teaming up on a song that many can expect to go viral because of the track itself, and the huge hype surrounding both of these artists. Killing all of their features this year between tracks like "Look Alive" with Drake and Blocboi JB, and Swae Lee on the national hit, "Sunflower" with Post Malone. These tracks took the charts by storm and brought up the hype for each other these artists, and the hype for a possible collaboration.
Drake and Swae Lee are actually good friends in real life, between Drake pulling up to Swae Lee's shows and vice versa. Previewing new tracks from each artist on their tour such as back in 2017 when Swae previewed Drake's feature on Trouble's track, "Bring It Back" which released in 2018.
Virgil Abloh, who is a current DJ, fashion designer, and phenom in the rap game with his close ties to many of the largest artists (Kanye and Drake for example) was doing his set during Coachella last weekend. While going in between his tracks, listeners can hear Swae Lee's tropical vocals singing over a smooth track, which then Drake hops in on a bumpy island beat.
Unsure of the current release date, or even who's track this actually is, fans can get prepared for this track by checking out both of these artists island vibe tracks and imagining a collab on each of these. Imagine Drake's smooth vocals on Swae Lee's song "Guatemala"!
Now that would be a track.
