Miami is the perfect place for creative energy. White beaches, packed clubs, high energy and diverse people all combine to create an electric atmosphere. Dre, who's from Miramar in South Broward county has been making moves. "In 2018 I got signed to my first modeling agency. Started rapping and turned down my first deal. In 2019 I'm trying get a better rap deal and blow up the right way. I think of Wiz Kahlifa's bar; the quicker you're here the faster you fall. It might seem simple but I can relate because if you really peep all the rappers that blow up off one hit, they tend to fall off quicker than the rapper who came out with a solid foundation. My style and the way I can switch my voice up allows me to sound different and that's something a lot of rappers can't do. Every rapper tries to find their own flow and they stay with it. The same rhyme scheme is in every song."
"I've always been rapping to be honest..." Dreko says. "I have a song on the cloud with my main man G6 back when we was in 8th grade." His inspirations (in no order) are Xavier Wulf, Tay-K, Lil baby, Sahbabi, Rich Forever, Lud Foe and his twin brother. "He means the most though. I want to see him win more than I want to see myself win."
When asked to tell give his future self a piece of advice Dre said "Those who exalt themselves shall be humbled and those that humble themselves shall be exalted."
"I feel like my music is different styles and flows that I get from some of my favorite rappers who inspire me."
