Champ BayLeFe is a 33 year old survivor from North Omaha N.E. Introduced to music at a young age he got his start in the church. 'I lead songs and just had a passion for being in the front. I use to sing in a group with my cousins at book stores when I was around 11 years old. When I was in the 6th grade my cousin and i won a immunization rap contest for blue cross in 1996 and from there on i was into hip hop. As for motivation, it would be MJ because his music was for everyone, it would be children at his concerts, that's dope!"
"My music is my individual voice. It means the world to me to be able to make people dance and bob they heads when I make music , or to create smiles from nice bars, that's priceless! There is no competition! I'm not in this to be better then anyone, I'm in this because I love to do it . If i see the next man/female going viral I'm happy for them ! It too much money out here to be in competition with others." This champion mindset is what sets him apart from the rest and solidifies him as an artist in his own right.
Champ describes his music as "Real life. I try to speak on the streets and how it is for Blacks in America , as of late I feel we need motivation music on how to be successful , so my new mix tapes will be educational but will keep yo shoulders moving and head bouncing. I tired of hearing I'll shoot this kill that , like get real it ain't that many killers in the hood, just people who act hard! My message is positivity, love, success and joy."
