YNW Melly Situation Dissected

Jamell Demons, aka YNW Melly, has been in the spotlight as of recently for being currently charged with two counts of first-degree murder on the 13th of February 2019. Melly has been coming up in the music scene from Florida for some time now. With many of his songs getting high view counts on Youtube, Melly has been expected to blow. After his track "Murder On My Mind" went viral this year, he has been in the spotlight ever since. 

In his current situation, Melly is being charged with the two counts of first-degree murder for the fatal shootings of his close friends, who were also part of the YNW crew, YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy. Since the charges have been placed against him, Melly has been getting heat and has been having his lyrics dissected by many. This is not the first time for Melly that he has had issues with the law before. When he was in jail in 2016, he had actually written his blow up song "Murder On My Mind" while in his jail cell. 



As people dissect his lyrics and look back on the situation, the rumor has been going around the internet that the song is written about his two close friends who are being spoken about in respect to the charges. But with the track being released 19 months ago, it is highly unlikely that there is any correlation between the two. It won't be hard to keep up to date on this situation as it has been in the news and all over social media recently. Check out the song in question below.
