Eddie Maqbool started making music about midway into February. What's even more impressive is where and how he produces his music "All of my beats and production are from GarageBand. Everything from my first EP to my newest release, artaniS has all been self taught. No tutorials or anything when I started." These days producers and musicians sputter names like FL Studio, Logic Pro and other professional production that can wind up costing a lot.

Like many, Eddie has his set of influences; "I'm very inspired by Logic, J.Cole, Croosh, and J. Dilla when it comes to beat production because there's just something about the vibe they give off that caught my attention. I like making music because I'm able to share my creativity with the world. It also is a fun pass time when I'm at home or waiting for my next class at college. What makes my music different is that I'm very open with my creations. I experiment with many genres. I've made Lo-fi, Hip Hop, and also trap songs. I think outside the box and sample some things people wouldn't expect to sample."
On top of his openness to create is a sense of authenticity that spreads beyond music. "My best quality, as a person, is always putting people ahead of myself. Helping others has always been a forte of mine. It makes me feel satisfied knowing I helped someone in any way possible. Whether it be giving a compliment to them, giving advice, listening to them, giving money to the homeless, or even just holding the door open. My end goal with my music is to branch out and work with other producers and artists. Right now, I am independent and only make music for fun. However, I would like to collaborate with artists and better myself in the future."

"Something I'd like for the audience to take away from my music is to do what you love. My best friend gave me the best advice a few months back. He said, "If you love your job and what you do, you'll never work a day in your life." That stuck with me and will for the rest of my life."
