Push boundaries with lua1k

SLC, Utah native Lua1k has strayed away from what some may consider a more conventional style of music. Diversity in influences and taste has always played a huge part in redefining new sounds for artists. Lua1k cites Lil Wayne & Young Thug as a few heavy inspirations. " (It's) because they help me build my sound..." but his inspirations go one step further... "I listen to a lot of alternitive rock , and indie music most of the time & those two genres are heavy on my sound & how it came to be." 

Lua1k's venture into music happened authentically. "I started music in my second year of middle school, I thought making music was cool and I had cousins who also made music but I would never. it went from them asking me to be on a song to me doing this as a hobby." This also seemed to impact who he considers some of his biggest mentors and supporters. "Right now my mentors & biggest impactors are the people I'm around & the differences in the music around the people I'm with." Lua1k, like so many has a plan for his music; "I want to accomplish many things but not only music accomplishments i want to get more out of it. its all deeper then just making music. I'm aiming to reach many different audiences and that's why every song, melody, beat sounds different." 

Lua1k describes his sound as "versatile" and this shows from the moment you click on one of his songs. He's mindful of his sound and strives to improve as he continues to pursue music. "So far i have many things i need to improve, I'm still not that far but I'm growing & developing everyday."
