Let's find out the deep meaning of the "Crossroads 2" through the confession of Papalee, promising young artist who breathes passion into his musical works.
Papalee has a lot of love for his new sequel project called "Crossroads 2." Papalee stated that "it takes place at the crossroads of people I have met throughout my life and love making music with." His plan was to include all of those people who don't know each other on the same project.
"You can see the paths cross on a track called "Brothers." The people on this track are two people I met at different points in my life and we ended up making music together" Papalee stated.
Papalee told us about a music artist named Har, someone he met in high school. Papalee revealed that he used to bring his laptop and microphone to school to record their mixtape at lunchtime and release the mixtapes on DatPiff. In those old days, they used to freestyle during break time in the back of the class. What's precious is that Har is still someone in Papalee's life and still pursuing music.
Papalee served four years in the military and despite the many braves souls he was connected with, one really stood out and they vibed with each other on a new level. Rollo is another artist that Papalee met at a different point in his life in California during his time in the military. Rollo heard about Papalee releasing a track, said he liked it, and he expressed something he wanted Papalee to listen to. Before that, he had no idea that Rollo made music. Their bond became strong; they would sit for hours freestyling to each other to better their talents and pass the time.
All it took was an unfinished microphone setup to get the two of them motivated enough to record their songs. They wiped the dust off of Rollo's microphone he never setup and gave it their best shot. As fate would have it, they have created dozens of songs together from that day on. They set up a studio in Papalee's closet and did a scavenger hunt for foam to put in there to get better sound's quality. Rollo is someone Papalee has often collaborated with in his life.
One of Papalee's biggest musical goals was to put both Har and Rollo on a path together. He wanted to be the first to do it and he was! That's how their "Crossroad" was created.
The two artists are Papalee's best friends, whom he met at different times in his life. He greatly admires and respects them for their musical talents. That's how the name "Crossroads" came to be.
In his prequel project "Crossroads", he made a song named "Brothers." Not only is "Crossroads 2" a sequel to the first "Crossroads" project, but "Brothers 2" is a sequel to the original title. This new EP features artists like Datslucy, and of course, Papalee's two best friends, Har and Rollo.
Now that "Crossroads 2" is released, Papalee is currently working on another sequel EP called "Warfare 2." Papalee is working really hard and has new singles on the way with a producer he recently met. In the near future, expect a music video for "Roadman" and a lot of new projects. Stay tuned for his works.
