Pooh Shiesty was a fan favorite in the first half of 2021 with some notable achievements. In May, he got into legal trouble for shooting a security guard in the ankle at a strip club in Miami, Florida. After six months incarcerated at Miami's Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, Pooh Shiesty is returning with a jail freestyle track called "Federal Contraband" on December 25th.
Pooh shared his feelings about what happened in the lyrics, he also said he has no regrets, "I been fucked up, in my feelings, don't wanna talk, just playin' it off. Pay attention, shit hit different when you stuck behind that wall. But I don't regret it, sharpen my tool 'cause shit ain't go as I thought."
He also mentioned his grandfather's death, "...My granddaddy passed away the other day, I just found out. Sh!t crazy, rest in peace, you'll forever live through me." But at the end of the track, Pooh shows that he's always strong no matter the situation through these words: "N*gg*, I'm locked up, but my mind still free. Can't lock that up, I'm in a worse situation but I'm at my best right now. It don't get no bigger than this. From the biggest."
