Where are you from? Have your surroundings shaped you in a creative sense, and in what way?

MoneyMellz:
I am from Compton well since I been leaving in Compton it gave me the creative sense of music like everyone I was around made some type of music.

Tommyy:
I’m from the west side and reside in the city of Compton. My environment has made me stronger, and it made me think about what I can do with my life.

Hallucinations:
I was born in long beach, raised in Inglewood and recently moved to Compton.

Divaisboss:
I was born in SAC town but I moved to Compton in my preteen ages. It was cool living here. I learned the difference of wanting to be successful and getting up and making yourself successful.

What’s your background like? Where do you stand on the music scene in your area?

Tommyy:
It’s just in my genes! Both my parents were artist and I got it from them.

Hallucinations:
My background was pretty dark. I was always the quiet type. I was hella anti social and life was just plain out hard for me.

Divaisboss:
I got the most boring background I would say. But to summarize it, we lived in Sacramento where we would be with our dad in his in home studio on the weekends. So we saw the studio scene from a young age. But then my brother, mom and I had to move to LA and live with our aunty til were where own our feet.  I make music and direct.

What did you start doing first, producing or rapping? How did you get started?

MoneyMellz:
I started off rapping. I’m still rapping but my cousin n close friend were producer and a artist. Listening to them made me want to make my own music.

Tommyy:
Rapping, my sister encouraged me to start rapping. My music was trash, but it just started getting better as I go on; Making a small studio using garage band, and going into a real studio once a month!

Hallucinations:
My mom always said to me, “ If there’s something on your mind, then write it on paper.” So i started to write poetry. Then my older brother started making little raps and i hopped on with him and noticed I had a talent. Later on i started making beats cause i was tired of searching for beats, but now I’m focused more on rapping.

Divaisboss:
I started rapping first. I got started by just kinda watching my dad freestyle all the time. So little me thought “oh shit” I can do that to. So I wrote down little rhymes that were happening in my life. And just form that in to music.

Do you have anyone that you consider your mentor? How has their help or advice shaped you?

MoneyMellz:
No really my crew is my inspiration.

Tommyy:
I think XXX had a very positive vibe ,  and it matches my vibe, so I just caught on! My mom taught me business and working hard. How has their help or advice shaped you? My mom showed me how to make my company and XXX, his vibe told me make your dreams happen, “just do it, make it happen!”

Hallucinations:
My uncle actually. I remember he took me to one of his friends studio. That just gave me more inspiration to keep striving to rap.

Divaisboss:
My team {SP} has been the biggest mentor to me. We wanna see everyone make it so we help each other on stuff each of us lack.

What is one experience in life that, without it, you wouldn’t be the artist you are today?

MoneyMellz:
My sister is the only reason why I started rapping without her I wouldn’t be doing it.

Tommyy:
Getting shot at in the park, told me you know how life can go so fast!

Hallucinations:
When my teachers and peers told me i wasn't gonna be shit.

Divaisboss:
If my mom didn’t give birth to me lol. Nah um I really don’t have a certain experience yet.

What do you hope to accomplish this year?

MoneyMellz:
I hope to get SP Entertainment to the top so we can sign people and make millions so can be a record label.

Tommyy:
Getting more people into sp_entertainment, and building ourselves!

Hallucinations:
I hope this year that i can make it in this rap game and be able to help my family and community.

Divaisboss:
Ouuu wee this is the getting big year ‘hopefully’ I dream that this year will be more performances and bigger audience and just making more heat.

What does your work aim to say?

MoneyMellz:
Get money over everything and have fun, don’t fall In love because love will hurt you the most.

Tommyy:
Look at how a group of kids can be looked at as nothing and turn out to be the hardest artist, going straight up!

Hallucinations:
I don't really have a message. I just make music that get people in a good mood to let loose and get lit.

Divaisboss:
I just want my work to stand .“jala wrote that shittt okayyyy” “People really underestimate my ability of doing anything and  just want to prove them wrong.

Who are your biggest influences and what do you like about them the most?

MoneyMellz:
Drake, lil uzi vert, ski mask the slump god and Kodak black I like these artists because they have fun making their music and they make all type of music.

Tommyy:
I like Ski mask, XXX, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop Dog, Tupac. They are all strong in their own way, and I’m strong in mine.

Hallucinations:
My uncle and my mom cause they always push me to continue my craft.

Divaisboss:
I really like lil Wayne at the moment. (Who doesn’t) the way he raps just makes the beat bump harder. Usually beats make rhymes sound hard but he makes the beat sound nice.

How would you describe your own style?

MoneyMellz:
Making money and bossing up.

Tommyy:
I just stand out!

Hallucinations:
Im more of a chopper/trap type.

Divaisboss:
I’m very spontaneous I don’t like to have the same flow in every damn thing I drop. My style is mysterious “maybe cause I haven’t found one out yet” so I just do and look however my mind and body says.

In what ways has your newest music changed from when you first started?

MoneyMellz:
My flow is way better then when I first started I love the way I make music now.

Tommyy:
A way better flow!

Hallucinations:
Well I haven’t released my older music, but the songs I have released is more hype than the rest.

Divaisboss:
Yoooo I mean like I would say I had a little glow up in music this past year. I took down my first ever song but if you heard it you would agree with me. I was a baby and had a baby voice so I might be talking some real shit but no one took me serious. Now I got a couple people bobbing they head to my stuff.

What are the main inspirations for the lyrics you write?

MoneyMellz:
Getting money really.

Tommyy:
Myself, how I feel at the moment, and what I have to say!

Hallucinations:
In the rap game my biggest inspirations are Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Joyner Lucas, Kendrick lamar, Ski mask the slump god, Hopsin, and Tyler the Creator.

Divaisboss:
My main inspiration In my lyrics are mostly rap upon the situations I have been present in or just thoughts that pop in my head.

What would be your dream venue in which to perform?

MoneyMellz:
Idk yet.

Tommyy:
A concert with my group Sp_Entertainment would be the dream!

Hallucinations:
My dream is to have the opportunity to see my first performance and to have a huge ass crowd chanting SP wit us. Also for me to be able to give back to my family and community for all the shit they’ve done for me.

Divaisboss:
Stadiums. I know its gonna take a long way to get there but do you know how dope it is to perform in a stadium of any sort. It madd cool.

What’s a song you have stuck in your head these days?

MoneyMellz:
‘No Feelings’ MoneyMellz, coming soon.

Tommyy:
Ummm, lol, my own songs! Sleeping on me, a new song coming out soon!

Hallucinations:
Me and tommyy’s song Pallet town???‍♂️?

Divaisboss:
My Brother {Tommyy} new song “sleeping on me”. The chorus is so relatable so thats what I keep singing around the house.
