Northern Illinois' Finest, Sity XX
Author: Justin Grome
Sity XX is a Hip-Hop/R&B artist born in Chicago, Illinois but raised in the 815 area. In his "Xad Xavage" album, the first song "XXI" states that he's "on some shit, no Adam22". Living up to this, he created a big buzz for himself in Northern Illinois already. He displays throughout his songs that his music is none to take as a joke. He got into music at a very early age becasue of his dad but started taking it seriously at the end of highschool. Initially not thinking anything of music and just being a hobby, highschool changed that for him. He formed a rap collective called "Davici Royalty Gang". He considers them way more just a collective of other artists. He states "it's like a family because we do way more than music when we chill". He has a range of soft and hard music in his new album "Xad Xavage" but mostly music relating heavily to his inspirations which consist of artists Chirs Brown, Tory Lanez, and Bryson Tiller. Taking his craft very seriously, he has no time to waste. His mindset is heavily focused on succeeding in his musical journey and doesn't let anything get in the way of that. He likes rapping over darker beats because it brings out his gloomy style and music that has a much deeper meaning to it. The verses sung are perfectly melodized and delivered in a very smooth way. You can tell some dark past has inspired his music, but hard to exactly pinpoint a single sequence of events.
