Meeke and Lil Cree met years ago through music and similar interests. Building this strong relationship together they've been working on many different projects. From listening to this project early and conversing with Meeke and Lil Cree, we can conclude that they have very similar styles. Although this project was different than most collaborative albums, it was unique in it's own way. They worked side by side each other, but never made an appearance on the same track together. This is something that is less frequent and we're very surprised they chose this route. Although, the tracks do go very well together, they should have exchanged flows on at least one song together. They're similar styles come together to almost create a story of trap and what goals are in mind for the future. Meeke has been dropping hints on Twitter for months about this project, but never gave an exact date until a few days ago playing one of his songs over a montage of girls twerking.
Collaborative albums usually come together to flexible verses come together. Particularly, Meeke and Lil Cree have similar styles which is why it is no surprise that "Da Ville" flows perfectly between alternating rap exchanges throughout. As perceived, this project reminds me of a wrestling match to tag his partner in to body his own song then switches again. According to Meeke "Da Ville" is a sample of his original project "My Time" that he's releasing after this one. He really wants to prepare really for what's coming. The “Da Ville” project is truly a work of art.
