On its fourth anniversary, the single "Drip Too Hard" from Lil Baby and Gunna's joint project "Drip Harder" was certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). "Drip Too Hard" peaked at No.4 on the Billboard 100 and was nominated for Best Rap/Song Performance at 2020 Grammy Awards.
"Drip Too Hard" is honored to be the 86th song to receive a diamond certification in music history, especially since it's a rap song. This helps Lil Baby and Gunna become "members" of a special club that includes other names in the hip hop industry like Eminem, Future, Drake, and a few others.
Earlier this month, Lil Baby announced the release of "It's Only Me" on October 14th. This will be his third studio album.
