"Donda 2" is only Available On Ye's Stem Player

Despite the success of "Donda" on online music platforms, Kanye West or Ye will only release "Donda 2" exclusively through the Stem Player device TODAY. This album is not being released on any other online music player platform as Spotify, YouTube, or Apple.

Kanye's Stem Player first revealed in August last year. Ye said he has made more than $2 million in sales of the Stem Player device since February 17th, 2022. Stem Player is a circle shape device produced by Yeezy Tech. The device allows users to split their music into stems. This means that fans can use this music as a basis to create new tracks.

The price fans have to pay to own a Stem Player is $200 or more.

Ye clearly explained his decision this time on his Instagram post. Specifically, Ye believes that artists don't earn enough, or very little (only 12%) in the music industry. He thinks it's time for the harsh rules and contracts that bind artists to be removed.
